Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was the big winner at Sunday night’s Critics’ Choice Awards. The drama was named best picture, while Brad Pitt picked up best supporting actor and Quentin Tarantino walked away with best original screenplay.
Best actor and actress was a repeat from last weekend’s Golden Globes with Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) and Renée Zellweger (Judy) taking the honors.
In the TV categories, Succession and Fleabag were named best drama and comedy series, respectively. They won the same categories at the Globes.
Top TV acting awards went to Jeremy Strong (Succession), Regina King (Watchmen), Bill Hader (Barry) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag).
Best talk show was a tie between two networks TV’s two 12:30 shows — The Late Late Show With James Corden and Late Night With Seth Meyers.
Best song was a tie between “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” from the Elton John bio-pic Rocketman (which also won at the Globes) and “Glasgow (No Place Like Home)” from the British musical drama Wild Rose.
