Beyoncé Is Set To Be Honored

Just a week after announcing the list of nominees for the 2020 Awards show, BET has shared several new additions to the show’s lineup which will include tributes to NBA legend Kobe Bryant and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Little Richard. It was also announced that Beyoncé Knowles-Carter will receive the prestigious Humanitarian Award this year! Beyoncé will be honored by BET for all the work she’s done to help underserved communities through her ‪@Beygood‬ foundation, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. Just recently, we got a small glimpse of what the star has contributed, recently releasing “Black Parade” in celebration of Juneteenth. The proceeds from the song were donated to Black-owned businesses. This also comes after also donating proceeds from Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Savage” remix to Houston’s Bread of Life.
