COACHELLA, STAGECOACH: Back Off Vaccine Mandates

The organizers of Coachella and Stagecoach, the two big festivals staged each April in Indio, California, have backed off their vaccine mandates for fans to attend.
Promoter AEG Presents said back in August that all of its events, which include Coachella, Stagecoach, Firefly, Hangout and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, would require full COVID vaccination for entry, with no exception for negative test results.
However, on Tuesday evening Stagecoach’s Twitter and Coachella’s Instagram posted the same statement: “After seeing firsthand the low transmission data and successful implementation of safety protocols at our other festivals this past month, we feel confident that we can update our health policy to allow for: Negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event OR Proof of full vaccination.”
