BUCKINGHAM PALACE: Housekeeper Jailed for Theft

Dozens of stolen items from Buckingham Palace were sold at eBay. The culprit, a former housekeeper, has been jailed for eight months.
Police discovered a “significant quantity” of Queen Elizabeth’s possessions in the home of Adam Canto. He pleaded guilty to the thefts of signed official photographs of Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Also lifted was a photo album from President Donald Trump’s visit last year to the United Kingdom.
The value of the 77 items stolen by Canto approached $150,000. He sold half at eBay for pennies on the dollar. All told, Canto raked in just $10,000 by hawking these stolen goods. (People)
